OUR MILESTONES

In the early 1990s, Ga Mone Pwint Company was known as GMP Company. During its initial years, the company imported and sold consumer goods, used cars, lubricants, tires, and batteries.

Our History

  • 1993 :

    Established Ga Mone Pwint Company, trading automobiles, tires, and batteries.

  • 1995 :

    Opened the first retail outlet in Sanchaung, Yangon: five stories and 30,000 sq. ft.

  • 1998 :

    Opened the second outlet in Botataung, Yangon. It reopened in 2012 after renovation as a three-story, 70,000 sq. ft. building.

  • 2000 :

    Opened the third outlet in Latha, Yangon. It reopened in 2013 after renovation as a three-story, 30,000 sq ft building.

  • 2004–2008 :

    Developed a 12-story condominium in Mayangone, Yangon, with 108 apartments and a three-story shopping mall. The mall opened as the fourth retail center in 2008.

  • 2012–2015 :

    Developed and opened Thiri Yadana Wholesale Market in North Okkalapa, covering 60 acres and including over 1,000 shops.

  • 2015–2018 :

    Developed Swedaw City Housing in Mingaladon: 25 acres and 400 residential units; completed in 2018.

  • 2016 :

    Opened the fifth shopping mall in Kamaryut, with a total area of over 300,000 sq ft.

  • 2016 :

    Established Holly Hotel at Thiri Yadana Market, with two buildings, three-star service, and more than 200 rooms.

  • 2017–2024 :

    Developed a wholesale mall in Mingalartaungnyunt, Yangon. Construction was completed in 2022, and the mall was opened in 2024.

  • 2018 :

    Launched the 250-bed ArYu International Hospital in Tamwe, Yangon, through a joint venture with Thailand’s Thunburi Hospital Group. It included 250 beds.

  • 2018-2025 :

    Developed a two-story wholesale market with 300 shops in Bago; completed in 2025.

  • 2026 :

    Opened the sixth retail outlet in Naypyidaw, with an area of over 80,000 sq ft.
